EMSA is more than an organization; a team created by enthusiastic medical students, a key player moving medicine forward in Europe and a communication platform for all medical students in world. Founded in 1991, EMSA has become not only one of the important and most succesful student organization in Europe but also in world, by staying one step ahead of change throughtout its journey of 20 years. |

EMSA members are a global player constantly moving toward its objective of duplicating its success in their countries at the European level. We are aiming to be "the best" thorugh student-focused work strategies, attaching due importance to medical education; knowing that developments born through science; internalizing medical ethics and honesty as sine qua non; and understanding that adding power to Europe gives us power in return as increasing European integration. |
The most importance factors make our members different are giving importance to their medical education career; aiming to be a global player; dedicating to enthusiasm and of course being a proud member of EMSA! Join us and get involve a blue life!
EMSA serves as an umbrella organization for its member faculties (mostly known as Faculty Member Organization-FMO) at individual medical faculties. FMOs exist as independent entities as well as members of the larger associations. EMSA's structure grants autonomy to its FMOs to meet their unique needs locally while making available to them an international network of pooled academic and organizational resources.
There is also an Individual Membership, which is open to any individual studying medicine in the geographical entity of Europe. Individual Members are entitled to attend EMSA events and benefit from EMSA's projects.

European Medical Students’ Association is the largest medical students’ association in Europe. The overall goal is through our activities strive to enhance social cohesion, improve the quality of education and healthcare. The primary EMSA mission is in the process of the European Integration, to improve the health and quality of the citizens of Europe, by acting as a conduit for increased interaction and sharing of knowledge between European medical students in the fields of medical education, medical ethics, culture, medical science and public health. In support of our mission, EMSA pursues to enhance understanding through nurture the spirit of cooperation, collaboration and mutual respect.
EMSA website pages strengthens the ties between our members improves the quality of community communication and interaction and touch every individual member.
The EEB will continue to be guided by passion for organizing students’ activities, for doing the right thing and for reaching those who feel same. This website is one step forward towards one of our priorities: making EMSA open, accessible, progressive and responsible association.
