The Eurotalk initiative is a 4 day to 4 week intensive language course available to all the medical students of Europe, combining language classes (including sign language), anamnestic exercises and practical training in the hospital in cooperation with local students and doctors.

By this, EMSA is following up on EU policy concerning language education for medical students, especially considering that the language barrier is still one of the greatest obstacles for mobility within Europe. Sport programs or team building exercises are also part of the project, in order to encourage strong relations between nations.

EMSA provides the infrastructure for setting up these courses, providing information, blue prints and material as well as holding individual language courses, related workshops or providing high-level speakers.
